Chef Jessica Roberts
When I think back to when my love of food began, I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been in the kitchen cooking, helping, learning and growing. I come from a long line of amazing and driven foodies who definitely know their way around the kitchen!
My Journey
In 2019, I decided to take my passion to the next level and began working on my culinary arts degree at American River College in Sacramento, CA. During my graduating semester in 2022, I landed a job at a local company as a personal chef specializing in weekly meal preps services. From there, I quickly took off and I knew that I was doing exactly what I was meant to do. One year after graduating, I established my business, Chef Ma-Jess, LLC and have been going all-in ever since.

My Philosophy
In a world of misleading labels and questionable ingredients, I strive to create food that transcends mere taste. My goal is to present dishes that look, taste, and feel truly nourishing, offering a culinary experience that resonates with your soul.
My Passion
My style of cooking has shifted over the years and my main goal is to not only provide amazing flavors and presentations but to have nutrient dense foods that are locally sourced. My driving passion is to provide REAL food that has REAL ingredients that have not been tampered with. With so many misleading labels on packages, we don’t truly know where a lot of our easily accessible food comes from and what’s in it. It is my goal to ensure that my love of food is translated on a plate that looks, tastes AND feels nourishing to the soul.

As a chef, my passion for food runs deep, and I am dedicated to serving my community through the art of cooking. I believe that food has the power to bring people together, evoke emotions, and create lasting memories.
Whether it's preparing a comforting meal for a family in need or hosting cooking classes to empower others with culinary skills, I find immense joy in using my talent to contribute positively to the community. Seeing the smiles on people's faces as they savor a delicious dish motivates me to continue sharing my love for food with those around me.
